What are the options when shipping lines equipment is missing?

Shipping companies, in a crisis, reconsider their empty supply system and result in a widespread lack of equipment.

Are shipping companies the only container owners?

And this is the topic I want us to focus on!

When we decide to go for a container from a shipping company or a leasing company, we are accepting conditions that for many are unknown. In the case of shipping companies, if the destination of the cargo is a container deficit location, the container user will be paying (unconsciously) in the freight a cost related to the future need to move it empty. In the case of container leasing companies, we are obliged to accept a much longer leasing time than we will use the container, repair costs and even mandatory delivery locations which often represents an extra delivery cost for the shipper.

The role of SILVERSEA is to create an atmosphere of connection, that give us the possibility connecting the dots and optimize this repositioning and end up using the containers in a shared pool system that fulfills their needs. These container-sharing movements will create equipment availability in areas that are in deficit and give shippers an extra solution to continue to move their cargo even in times of equipment crisis of shipping companies. Is the quality of the containers the same? Yes, of course. The container used for sea transport follows quality standards which must be followed in order to be suitable for sea freight. SILVERSEA takes care of containers in the same way as other owners, ensuring that they are clean and certified as seaworthy.

IN A MOMENT OF CRISIS, YOU HAVE TO BE CREATIVE!
